HEAL JAMAICA FROM HURRICANE MELISSA

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa’s devastation, Youths For Excellence (YFE) has launched the Education Recovery Appeal — a USD $3 million initiative dedicated to helping Jamaica’s children return to learning as quickly as possible. As a registered charity in both Jamaica and the United States, YFE is uniquely positioned to mobilize rapidly and transparently — raising vital funds to rebuild classrooms, provide school supplies, and support teachers and students affected by the storm. All proceeds from this campaign will be formally transferred to the Ministry of Education’s official Education Recovery Fund, ensuring full accountability, national coordination, and measurable impact. Through the generosity of donors around the world, YFE aims to restore not only damaged infrastructure but also the hope, stability, and opportunity that every Jamaican child deserves.
